What a better way to say thank you than with an intimate “Friendsgiving” party. I love hosting and one thing I can really say is that I enjoyed hosting this party. I partnered up with Stella Artois during the summer, not sure if you guys remember the pool party … it was so much fun and many didn’t know that side of me. Now I’m bringing you some cool ideas for the upcoming holidays. In a few weeks we will be celebrating Thanksgiving. I know we all get really busy during the holidays, but I didn’t want to forget to say “Thank you” to my closest friends. Stella Artois has the best beer and trust me when I say this because I’m not a drinker at all. Stella is light and refreshing. Now you can even enjoy their new cider flavor…WOW! It’s like the holidays are really here. I have not started my shopping yet but I can tell you this much, my spirit is up and ready for the new year!
Last year I remember quitting my job to pursue blogging full time and wow what an amazing roller coaster, ups and downs. I just been thankful overall for all the work put in my path. I really think we take for granted many things in life. We celebrate birthday and holidays. Never do we get out of our comfort zone to just gather with family or friends. I think hosting taco night, or game night should always be part of a tradition. Not forgetting to be thankful to the people you love better yet if you can share good times safely. When planning a party, I always opt for an early something like 1 to 3pm, or 2 to6pm just for a few hours of intimacy. I feel like mid-day works best for brunch or some yummy snacks like I did. I had a cheese platter, meats, fruits, veggies, empanadas, and quipes.. I had some yummy cupcakes to end the party with a POW lol. I feel like Stella went well with everything I offered because it’s so lite, it’s like you’re not really drinking a beer. Since I always have Stella at home, most of my friends are hooked lol. I think I’ve developed a new love and passion for food and decor .. Most of my decor I got it at Sur la Table, Home goods and Marshalls. I started shopping a few weeks ahead to have an idea of what I wanted. I really went for a more minimal look with the whites and the wooden seating. I also want to take a second to thank all of you for being part of my blog and feed. I work so hard to give you guys great content… I hope we can jump into next year on a positive and remember to host the best party for the people you love. Huge Thanks to Stella Artois for making this possible and Denisse for the amazing pictures.
What are you thankful for today?
