My trip to Miami was quick but fun. I really must say each time I travel I learn more about myself and the things I want. It’s always great to find inspiration in walls, nature & the people around you. Unfortunately I didn’t have as much time to take street style photos due to timing but I did share some selfie looks with you guys on Instagram.
It’s officially December and time to start preparing for the holidays and New Year. I’m working on my resolutions, but more importantly thinking of the ones I have accomplished. For Example in 2011 I joined the gym and through out the years I have kept that resolution alive! It’s important for me to balance my life with a good workout routine. I’ve seen it too many times, people join the gym in January and quit by March. In 2015 I said I wanted to work for myself, wrote it on my calendar, at first it was impossible because “hey I have a rent to pay” and it didn’t make sense to be inconsistent. However 2016 was the year I decided to quit my job. Do I recommend quitting without a game plan? Though it will certainly light a fire under your butt, its better to make sure your brand is strong enough to sustain you first. I hope to keep this resolution alive. In 2011 I quit drinking “Soda” ha ha it was so bad, I would have 2 cans of soda in the morning alone, so much sugar I felt unhealthy. When I made that change my body transformed. Its important to even acknowledge the small things that can really impact your life and change it for the better. I think life is about making goals and working hard towards to achieve them.
One thing I never do is party more. Like I don’t go out at all lol. If is requires me going out after 9pm… “I’m not coming” lol such a grandma. So it was a great experience to enjoy this event hosted by Perrier Jouet ., may I say their Champagne is delicious and light! Add some orange juice and oh my, we are ready to brunch. Who doesn’t love a good brunch?! This event was about Cheering to all the things I was so thankful for. Specifically I was grateful for this trip because it’s part of my work. So what are your cheering for in 2017?
Cheers for the beauty of life which is being healthy and being able to share moments with people who you respect and love. I want to thank The Perrier Jouet team for the invite, I had a great time with the team. I also meet this really cool blogger from NY, Sage. He has an amazing talent and he is so energetic. We connected so well. I’m glad he was my partner in this shoot.
The highlight of the night was the presence of Sarah Jessica Parker. It was so surreal, all my “Carrie” moments came to life. I didn’t take a picture with her but I was able to tell her that she inspires me everyday. She held my hand and said “Thank you.” (ahhh!)
When was the last time you told someone, you have inspired me? When was the last time you wrote resolutions that you kept, but most importantly when was the last time you celebrated your accomplishments?
The time is NOW!
