Miami Vibes!

Dress Vicidolls Necklaces Madewell Wedges Revolve Handbag Cult Gaia

You guys know I can’t help but love a good dress, especially a maxi dress. Now that Spring is here my blog is screaming MAXI dresses. The nice thing about springs’ transition into summer is that much of the clothing you wear in the spring you can wear into summer. Maxi dresses are a no worry one piece item in you closet that is there for you when you say you have nothing to wear. Like most dresses you don’t have to worry about much, just the accessories.

A great way of pairing a maxi dress, if your petite like myself is with wedges. I purchased these ones from Tony Bianco via REVOLVE site. They are very comfortable and go great with any Spring/Summer look.

Miami weather was perfect, it was just what I needed! We found this cute coffee shop on Espanola Way with the most memorable outdoor patio. The aesthetic of the patio itself was so cozy and cute, filled with the most interesting trinkets hanging from the ceiling and walls. I’m seriously so happy I took this mini trip to find inspiration. Hope you guys enjoy my look xxx

    As You Wait

Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.
    James 5:7, NLT

God has put dreams and desires in every person’s heart. But most times, there’s a season of waiting involved. Maybe you’re waiting for a relationship to improve; waiting to get married; waiting for a promotion, or waiting to overcome an illness. Much of life is spent waiting. But there’s a right way to wait and a wrong way to wait. Too often, when things don’t happen on our timetable, we get down and discouraged or anxious and fretful. That’s because we’re not waiting the right way.
Notice that today’s verse doesn’t say if you wait; it says as you wait. The fact is that we’re all going to wait. It goes on to say that we should consider how the farmer waits—patiently and eagerly. We’re not supposed to sit around and be discouraged; we’re supposed to be hopeful, positive and full of expectancy!
Today, no matter what you are praying for, expect things to change in your favor. Today could be the day that God turns it all around. As you wait with patience and expectancy, you’ll open the door for God to move. He’ll fight your battles, and you’ll see that abundant harvest He’s promised in every area of your life.

Father, today I choose to wait expectantly for You. I trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. I put my trust and hope in You knowing that You have good things in store for my future in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Love the color of your green dress against your beautiful skin tone! And your choice of contrasting accessories, like the yellow in your bracelets and bamboo in your shoes and on your purse really make the dress pop. The red chair in the background also makes your green dress pop. And, I love the shoes with ribbon ties like you’re wearing — so hot! And, they definitely elevate your dress to a more ethereal level. And, I also love the on-location shots to show the background — makes the styles pop. Great post!
